Learn more about Monica

Bio: Monica Townsend had been searching for a positive outlet to release anxiety and stress when Yoga came into her life.  With curiosity piqued, she zealously began to explore the mind-body connection which bubbled to the surface each Yoga class.  Advanced studies of anatomy and physiology in relation to asana illumined her fascination with fascia and is the lens from which she looks through.  She is most interested in developing an approach to Wellness which synthesizes Meridian Theory with Hindu and Buddhist philosophy; hence, her teaching style integrates thoughtful, slow-flow movement with stillness.
