The study of Yoga is extremely vast, Pam’s classes explore the many avenues of ancient yoga, therapeutic philosophical and meditative. These classes are very slow contemplative movements that aim at understanding how to breathe and move precisely to long smooth even inhalations/exhalations. Exploring basic postures like twists to cleanse organs, inversions for the heart and brain, weight-bearing postures for the bones, and pranayama and meditation to calm the nervous system. With masterful warm-ups and asana sequencing aided by plenty of props, Pam breaks the asanas down to best accommodate your breath. With continuous practice, Pam’s classes aid the student in reaching their maximum potential in both mind, body, and consciousness.
Emphasis is on understanding specific breathing techniques, body alignment, and finding the true essence of Yoga.
